Palmer couldn’t have seriously expected to have been going to the World Cup, right? I’m a Chelsea fan and his performances have been below par for the entire season. He needs the summer to strengthen physically, he looks weak and about a yard off his pace!

Palmer hasn't been fit for months and has looked totally uninterested in playing. It's only been the last few games where he looked anywhere near his old self. He also hasn't been able to hit a barn door with a banjo. Tuchel knows what he's doing (I hope!).

Some people need to take the Chelsea-tinted glasses off. He’s not been fit most of the season and not produced when he has played. Let him have the summer off to recover. It will benefit Chelsea long-term and also England too. A setback, but he’s young enough to still play a massive part for club and country for many years

The Geezer obviously doesn't want England to do owt in the world cup, Tuchel was at the fa cup final, But obviously didn't see Palmer running about all over the pitch, proper putting the work in. I think Cole palmer is playing about 70% of his ability right now since his last injury so not surprised he was not picked for the squad, he is still young so will get anther chance in the next 4yrs.

According to The Sun (those great sports writers 🤣🤣) he's been left out because Tuchel has concerns about his personality. My huge concern in the squad is that defence. It's not exactly what you'd call a winning one (except Guehi, James and Livramento)

Simply poor form. All midfielders selected were much better than him this season. Another factor is Chelsea season as a whole.

Whilst I appreciate that cole hasn't been at his best, & sometimes hampered by position or injury, he's still a game changer. The only bonus for chelsea is that hopefully he'll start the new season fully fit & fired up by Alonso 😊⚽️

Unbelievable decision! I know he’s not been great this season but he’s a match winner. He assisted Watkins SF goal and scored in the final at the last Euros. You can’t tell me you’d rather bring on Eze than Palmer 🤦‍♂️
