How to delete your TalkingPoints account and what happens to your data.
Delete your account directly
The process is automated within your TalkingPoints account profile. The easiest way to delete your account is by logging in and using the delete account process either in the app or on this website.
Request account deletion by email
If you wish to request deletion of your account you can do so using the form below. Please ensure you use the email address associated with your account. We will email to confirm the intent to delete and on confirmation your request will be processed within 5 working days.
The account deletion process removes all user content and profile information from public view. The only data that is retained is that which is required for us to do so by law. The data that is deleted includes, but is not limited to, all user comments, user handle, email address, user preferences, and mobile notification tokens.
Request received
Your deletion request has been submitted. We'll send a confirmation email to the address you provided. Once confirmed, your account will be deleted within 5 working days.
What data is deleted
Account deletion removes all user content and profile information from public view. The following data is permanently deleted:
- User handle and display name
- Email address
- Profile avatar and bio
- All user comments and reactions
- User preferences and interests
- Mobile notification tokens
Data required by law to be retained will be held securely and not used for any other purpose. For full details see our Privacy Policy.
